Wednesday, July 24 at 7:00 pm. Come out to Riverfront Park to enjoy an evening of old-time jigs, reels, and waltzes performed by the Crooked Stovepipe Folk Orchestra. With the odd vintage pop tune from the 1920s and 30s thrown in, you’ll hear everything from Don Messer to Fats Waller. The Crooked Stovepipe Folk Orchestra is not shy about welcoming new members to their group. Depending on who’s there, their line-up boasts fiddles, guitars, ukuleles, reeds, banjo, accordions, and bass.
For this concert, the orchestra will be joined by the folk duo Mike & Pat, featuring Mike Hogg on the guitar vocals and harmonica, and Patrick Campbell, guitar and vocals.
Admission by donation. Please bring a lawn chair to enjoy the concert. The Riverfront Park is located beside the Port Dover Harbour Museum.
